What a neat little electric locomotive. You could always say that she is running on the “virtual” third rail. The real New Haven Railroad used both catenary and third rail over its lines. I think the third rail was used mainly around metropolitan New York.

Dang! What a great idea! Since my entire 7/8 fleet is rather whimsey, I’m going to follow up with that.
I’ll store the battery and decoder in tool boxes or something.
