thanks so very much. this computer is now functional again (laptop), and is the important one as it has all the photos and vid’s of Victorian narrow gauge, and RGS event on it. Right now backing them up to DVD. more photos later.
the desktop is more functional but needs more tlc before workable. it did nor boot when started up upon arriving home. new battery and a cleaning has left something still messed up to the blue screen level.
