Glad to see the CN unit in its new home Rooster. Looks good ! That engine as well as my BNSF SD 70 made a clunking noise from day one. It didn’t seem to affect its performance so I didn’t do anything about it .

All good Mike and thanks …the front axle had missing teeth on the axle gear. I just flopped the axle so it makes no contact with the worm gear (free floating it ). Essentially making it a 5 axle gear driven unit but it works great! Only issues the crew has noticed is when the toilet flushes the lights go dim. But a turbo plunger has been installed in the cab so all is working fine.

BTW …noted your body mounted 830’s which work well but I ended up doing sill mounted Kadees on the other unit I have and very happy with that install.

Good stuff and still thinking about getting out the fillet knife but not sure.

Page 2 ?

Guess I’m gonna have to run some trains to make page 3 unless others would like to beat me to the punch ?

Shawn and his pullstring quartet would be perfect right now ?

Trying to help you out Rooster!

Nico how did you do that … two video’s side by each …way cool …

I have no clue???

I bought a 50’ boxcar last summer, finally got it to my place this week. Was told it wouldn’t work on 4’ diameter, it is a little rough, but some slight modifications will get it there.

Trains … @ 18 months he wants to run them …

Very cute. (https://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

Here’s a video I did yesterday . Beautiful day and the train ran good and stayed on the track all day. Here’s a link to the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gYVMuAxSDBg

Boy Mike you sure know how to make a guy jealous!!! Great video by the way, but for someone who has bare dirt right now, with a little ballast on the tracks is sure nice to see such a well “gardened” layout! Living where I do I know I will probably never attain your greenery, but it sure looks great.

Mike, I really like the Branch Line feel of your scenery. Your train belongs there as do your scratch built cars.

Thanks for sharing, I need all the motivation I can get!

Thanks guys ! The CJM Railroad is celebrating it’s 15th year of operation this year . Most of the tracks have been in place since 2004 when it all started. Also most of the “Elfin Thyme” and Dwarf Alberta Spruce trees as well . I keep telling my wife i’m getting tired of trimming trees and am thinking of changing it to resemble Nebraska .

Not much going on here. But a start to the layout.

Great weathering job on the WP box car
