Large Scale Central

Thanksgiving Sale at RLD Hobbies

If you have not heard, Robbie is having a Thanksgiving Weekend sale. On-Line only. 7% off website prices on purchases $250-$749 and 10% off $750 or more.

Very tempting!

Jon, I don’t remember RLD being so completely out of stock of so many items…is it a combination of Covid and Chinese manufacturers?

I don’t know. He had what I wanted in-stock. Should arrive here tomorrow, but USPS has been running 5-7 days for Priority Mail which should be 2 days to most places.

He had what I needed also, well cept 18 pieces had to be black and not gray…

Needed some more concrete ties to replace regular damaged ties on my mainlines…

Shipped yesterday, got them at noon… (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

I usually try to find out in advance if suppliers have what I want to buy instock before I order, this way I don’t get all twisted out of shape having to wait. You know how it goes, when you order something you wanted it yesterday.

Robby keeps pretty well informed on what’s happening in the Industry…

Even if the web page shows out of stock, call Robby and ask…

Or if something you want is not listed, call him…

And no, he doesn’t pay me to say this… hehehe

He’s just good and an honest person…

We been talking to Robby for last few days and no problems on anything so far on stock or sale items. Our order is shipping.

USPS still has not delivered a Xmas present box that I mailed from Florida to Long Island NY 2 day Priority on Dec 4th! That is 1 month in transit for a 2 day Priority package. I had them track it and they said it is on Long Island in a 53 foot trailer awaiting sorting. No refund of my Priority shipping cost and one disappointed grandson! I’ve stopped using the USPS as much as I can, worst thing is when I ship it UPS, or FedEx sometimes they give it to the USPS to be delivered, another three, or four days delay.
