Virtual Drag & Brag Signup

Greetings folks! here's your spot to sign up for doing some bragging at the

First Ever LSC Virtual Drag & Brag

February 27, 2021

7:00-10:00 PM, EST

You don't have to sign up to drag yourself to the event, but you DO have MIGHT want to sign up for a slot to brag about your model.

Priority will be given to the 2021 MIK contestants, but anyone can sign up and present.

Please don't post comments & questions here, but please do so on the conversation thread located HERE.

To use this signup thread, add a post with your name and model title.

If you have certain time constraints (e.g., because of time zones and prior engagements), put that in as well.

The list below will be updated as we move along.

 -------------------------------------------------------------------------

An "introduction time" will be on the schedule for you to let your pals know

what you look and/or sound like (even if you don't present anything else).

 -------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Moderator (& our Benevolent Dictator) will manage who's yakkin' when.

A link will be sent out a couple days prior to the meet.

See ya there!!

 -------------------------------------------------------------------------

Zoom meeting requirements for PC's & Macs (thanks Bruce!) can be found here.

Instructions for the Android Zoom app can be found here.

Cliff;

Count me in. No MIK to show; have not even started as yet. I will have one of my “three dimensional puns” to show. My Tin Cup car is the perfect companion for Tin Plate equipment.

OOPS! Eastern time zone.

Best, David Meashey

Dave Taylor… MIK Rubealattor, drop center heavy haul car.

From Mountain time…

Why not just sign up via the event?

Oh, I see…nevermind!(https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-foot-in-mouth.gif)

Craig Townsend

MIK project T-D Feed Truck and other past MIK builds.

Jim Rowson backwoods still. Pacific time. My ability to participate, and timing may be iffy due to caregiver duties…

Just a friendly reminder to sign up for

bragging rights

at the upcoming

Virtual Drag & Brag!

MIK contestant or otherwise,

Strut Your Stuff!

Does anyone know anything about this program?

Not me. Appears you need to run your own server… though they have a free service to use, I am guessing it has some performance/scale limits.

Unfortunately, I’ll be out of town that weekend, so you’ll have to carry on without me…(https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)(https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

Ken, it’s virtual… You don’t need to be in town. (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif)

The puter will still be in town, it’s just that I won’t be around to use it.

There is a zoom app for your phone, I betcha!

Even better, you can join a zoom call via phone call. Doesn’t help for the whole video thing, but it works. And yes there’s an app. I’ve used it a few times. But that requires data or a internet connection and a smart phone.

I’m still in the stone age when it comes to phones.

Me too, I still have a Samsung Galaxy 9.

I think that what Ken means is that he still has a phone in the kitchen; it’s attached to the wall, and has a cord… (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-sealed.gif)
