Large Scale Central

Work900

The mighty Work900 finally got some track time. A few slow orders were added at some soft spots. Ballast was added, and the slows should be removed soon. The layout actually handled it’s first winter well. There was some ice jacking around the bridge.

Great work Shane …

Thanks Sean,

I’m getting some heat from my conductor for not having “his” caboose complete yet. I ordered some rivet decals from Micro-Mark, so I’m a little delayed.

Shane

Funny I didn’t even see an engineer …

Oh oh, proof of life…

Sean, I can’t get him out of the seat. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-tongue-out.gif)I think he likes the new power.

The mirror needs adjusted

Hi, Shane. I have seen your full video. Your railway track is really fantastic.

Great Video… (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

Thanks James and Andy.

If you recall when I left Q115 running unattended, it tried to take a dip in the lake. Well I didn’t learn. I left Work900 unattended, and a big chunk of my deck has vanished. I guess main level expansion is underway. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-surprised.gif)

Shane, I am willing to bet Rooster took the deck… (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

HaHa. See, I still have a lot to learn. Never turn your back on a train… or a Rooster. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-tongue-out.gif)

Women’s work !

Couldn’t you find CN color stain ?

Sean, it would make me stick out even more on google earth. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-tongue-out.gif)

Things are a mess right now. Lots of slows, and foremen, but Work900 is trying hard to get the track open. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-smile.gif)

Well, it’s currently very hot and humid, so work has slowed a little. I’ve cleaned up a little, and have the extended mains up and running. Work900 put in some overtime. I think I need another load of ballast to finish things off, but it may have to wait until next year as I hadn’t planned for it. The old yard is tied in, but the roadbed needs to be extended on the north connector track.

I’ve been running some trains, so I may post a new video in the next week or two.

Time to get the deck complete.
