I like to use the Library of Congress photo collections for reference when painting figures. Great pictures Bob. It’s funny but the third picture down from the start looks like the guy is holding a cell phone in his right hand.

And his pet rabbit is under his elbow! You can just see the ears!

I suspect that was his striker for a spark to light the torch…
